Tabula
rasa terikat tali seutas
Sabitah satu nan biru
Adakah rahasia tersingkap
Mari merenung di penghujung sore
Aubade mengiring hati yang sukar
Riuh gemerisik tawa terbias
Alunan biola bawa jiwa berkelana
Asmaraloka
telah terkorosi hasud
Tamsil taman kering merana
Serasa tiada damai kelak
Ilusi jiwa bersolo
Lingkaran takdir sendu mendesir
Friksi hidupku mengatakan
Ada damai di seberang sana
Dekap mesra bersua suka
Hilang derita seirama gesekan dawai biola
Imajinasi membumbung tinggi
Lagu musim semi sayup berbisik
Aku seorang violinist

Colombian Cuisine
Hola!
7th of December kita akan kedatangan tamu dari Kolombia. Ini makanan-makanan yang ada di sana. Kayaknya sih enak, walapun aku juga belum pernah cobain :p Mari dibayangkan saja rasanya -_-v
Ajiaco
Kind of chicken soup. It includes chicken, two (preferably three) kinds of potatoes, corn, sour cream, capers, avocado and guasca. Guasca is a special herb that grown throughout the Americas and gives the soup its distinct flavour.

Bandeja Paisa: A huge mixture of food on more of a platter than a plate, it consists of grilled steak, fried pork rind, chorizo sausages, on a bed of rice and red beans that is then topped with a fried egg and a side of sliced avocado and sweet banana (chips). It is arguably the national dish of Colombia.
Empanadas: It is a stuffed pastry that can either be sweet or savory. The savory Colombian empanadas are filled with beef, chicken and/or cheese as well as with rice and coriander. Compared to the Chilean or Argentinean empanadas they are not baked but fried.
Arroz con Coco: Coconut rice pudding, it can be served as a side dish or a dessert. It is made with lemon zest and cinnamon.
Mazamorra de Maíz: This is a typical dessert in various countries in Latin America. The Colombian version is basically very well cooked white corn (for several hours) in water. It then will be sweetened with sugar cane or sugar and milk will be added.
Hmm jadi laper lagi nih. Semoga besok yang dari Colombia bawa makanan khas sana ya.. hehehe

Rujak Cingur Rek!
Hayoo sopo sik ngerti rujak cingur? *Suroboyoan style*
Pasti belum banyak yang pernah makan rujak cingur.Rujak cingur itu makanan khas Jawa Timur. Isinya ketimun, kedondong, bengkoang, nanas, kangkung, kacang panjang, tahu, dan tempe. Bumbunya kayak pecel tapi pake petis (dari udang) sama pisang biji hijau yang masih muda (pisang klutuk). Oh ya! Jangan lupa tambahin cingur. Cingur? Apa itu? Cingur adalah mulut sapi yang direbus terus diiris-iris. jangan kuatir, cingurnya bersih, ga bau, enak lagi! :D

Rasanya sih mirip-mirip mochi tapi bentuknya kotak. Terus ada gula halusnya. Karena keasyikan nguyah turkish delight terus, sampe lupa kalau aku punya blog yang perlu diisi. Jadi fotonya aku ambil dari google aja ya.. -_-v
Ingredients:
1 liter water
900g sugar
285 cornstarch (maizena)
225 confectioners sugar (gula halus)
1 1/2 Tbsp rosewater
2tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cream of tartar *
Red food colouring (optional)
How to:
Agak ribet yaa.

285 cornstarch (maizena)
225 confectioners sugar (gula halus)
1 1/2 Tbsp rosewater
2tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cream of tartar *
Red food colouring (optional)
How to:
- 1. Place the sugar, 285ml (½ pint) water, and lemon juice in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture boils.
- 2. Reduce the heat and simmer gently, without stirring, until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage 114 - 118°C (238 - 245°F). The sugar mixture will form a soft ball which can be squashed flat.
- 3. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- 4. In a second large heavy saucepan over medium heat, stir together 225g (8oz) cornflour and the cream of tartar.
- 5. Gradually stir in the remaining water until no lumps remain.
- 6. Stir constantly, until the mixture boils and forms a thick, gluey paste.
- 7. Slowly pour the hot sugar syrup into the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly.
- 8. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring often, to prevent sticking, for about 1 hour, or until the mixture has become a pale golden colour.
- 9. Stir in the rosewater and add food colouring (if used).
- 10. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tin and spread evenly.
- 11. Cool to room temperature, uncovered, allow to stand overnight to set.
- 12. Sift the icing sugar and a little cornflour onto a large cutting board.
- 13. Turn out and cut into 1-inch squares with an oiled knife.
- 14. Roll pieces in the icing sugar mixture to coat well.
- 15. Store in an airtight container with sheets of waxed paper, dusted with the sugar mixture, separating every layer.
- Makes approx.80 pieces.
